Private Offers vs. Entitlements
As you manage customer deals in Suger, youβll work with two closely related concepts: private offers and entitlements. Understanding the difference makes it easier to track where each deal stands.
Private Offers
A private offer is a proposal thatβs still pending acceptance by the customer.
- Move through several stages β for example, submitted, accepted, or pending acceptance.
- Appear in the Offers tab, where you can track their progress.
Entitlements
An entitlement is an offer that the customer has accepted.
- Are created when a private offer is accepted.
- Represent finalized agreements β the customerβs active subscription in the cloud marketplace.
