Datadog

Overview

Datadog is a monitoring and observability platform that provides comprehensive infrastructure monitoring, application performance monitoring, logs management, and security monitoring capabilities. By connecting Suger to Datadog, you can receive real-time alerts and notifications about your cloud marketplace operations directly in your Datadog dashboards and incident workflows.

Org-Level vs User-Level

Org-Level: Organization-wide Datadog access via API keys or OAuth. All users in the organization share the same Datadog connection.

User-Level: Personal Datadog account access per user via OAuth. Each user connects their own individual Datadog account.

Create Integration (Org-Level)

Prerequisites

• Datadog account with API access
• Datadog API key and Application Key

Authenticate

1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations
2. Click "Connect Datadog"
3. Enter your Datadog API Key and Application Key
4. Select the Datadog site (US, EU, or other)
5. Click Verify to test the connection
6. Upon successful verification, the integration status is updated to verified

You can find your API key and Application Key in the Datadog API settings.

Create User Integration

Use user-level integration when you want to connect your personal Datadog account.

1. Click Connect Now button in the User Integrations section
2. You will be redirected to Datadog to authorize
3. Grant access to your Datadog data
4. Return to Suger to confirm connection

Deleting the integration will remove access to Datadog immediately.

Edit Integration

Editing not supported. Delete and recreate.

Delete Integration

Deleting removes the integration and stops all Datadog notifications.
