Suger

Entitlements

Read a live agreement from the HubSpot deal it belongs to, without opening the Suger Console.

Overview

The Entitlements tab on the Suger deal card lists the agreements created when a buyer accepted one of your offers. An entitlement is the live contract: the offer is what you sent, the entitlement is what the buyer is actually running on.

What the card shows

Selecting an entitlement opens its info panel. Which rows appear depends on the marketplace and the contract — a field with nothing behind it is omitted rather than shown empty.

FieldWhat it is
ID / External IDSuger’s identifier, and the marketplace’s own.
StatusWhere the agreement stands.
TypeThe entitlement type.
Offer Delivery MethodHow the offer reached the buyer.
PartnerThe marketplace it came from.
Start Time / End TimeThe contract window. On a GCP entitlement both show a Pacific date and time, with PST or PDT, as GCP’s Producer Portal does.
Creation Time / Last Update TimeWhen Suger created and last synced the record.
Term LengthThe contract term.
CurrencyThe contract currency.
Commit AmountThe committed amount.
Gross AmountThe gross contract amount.
Invoiced AmountWhat has been invoiced so far.
Billing CycleHow often the buyer is billed.
Auto RenewYes while the agreement is set to renew automatically. When auto-renewal is off, the row is left out.
Renewal Disabled ReasonWhy the agreement will not renew, when it will not.
Initial Agreement IDThe first agreement in a renewal chain.
Seller NotesNotes carried on the agreement.

Suger also keeps an active GCP entitlement’s End Time aligned with the end of its offer’s term, so an End Time that was recorded a day late is corrected on a later sync. See GCP: dates in Pacific time.

Two buttons appear at the bottom of the panel when there is something to fetch:

ButtonWhat it gives you
EULAThe end-user licence agreement for the entitlement.
InvoiceThe invoice for the entitlement.

Both open in a new tab.

AWS renewal details

An AWS agreement carrying pre-authorized auto-renewal terms grows a Renewal section, read-only, with the terms the buyer accepted:

FieldWhat it tells you
Renewal statusWhether the agreement is set to renew.
Renewal PricingThe uplift shape that was agreed.
Price uplift rangeThe pre-negotiated minimum and maximum, on a range term.
Default uplift percentageWhere inside the range the uplift sits if nobody adjusts it.
Uplift statusWhether the uplift is still open or locked in: Pending uplift, Finalized YYYY-MM-DD, or Finalized. See Adjust the renewal uplift.
Renewal countHow many renewals are authorized.
Lockout dateThe date after which opting out is no longer possible — the renewal decision deadline set on the offer.
Adjustment deadlineThe date after which the uplift can no longer be changed.
Next renewal dateWhen the next term begins.
Renewal errorShown only when a renewal operation failed, with the message.

When the offer carried one, a Renewal payment schedule follows: the contract duration, the number of installments, and the schedule itself.

Renewal history shows the chain of agreements this one belongs to, naming the previous agreement. If Suger has not yet read a predecessor, it says Predecessor pending rather than showing a broken chain — the current agreement always renders even when the chain lookup is unavailable.

Adjust the renewal uplift

On a range term, you choose from the card where inside the pre-negotiated range the next renewal’s uplift lands. Adjust Renewal Uplift appears in the entitlement’s actions menu when all of these hold:

  • the entitlement is an ACTIVE AWS agreement whose renewal term has a price uplift range;
  • auto-renewal is still on;
  • there is no pending or scheduled cancellation;
  • the adjustment deadline has not passed;
  • the uplift has not been finalized yet.

The Adjust Renewal Uplift dialog opens with the agreed Uplift range, the Default uplift and the Adjustment deadline. What you set depends on whether the offer has a payment schedule:

OfferWhat you set
Without a payment scheduleOne Target uplift percentage for every dimension, previewed line by line under Contract dimensions and Usage dimensions. Or turn on Set an uplift per dimension to give each line its own Uplift % — each starts at the range default.
With a payment scheduleThe Target uplift percentage applies to the installments, previewed under Payment schedule preview. Usage dimensions get their own Usage uplift percentage, or per-line values with Set an uplift per dimension. Contract dimensions cannot be set one by one, because the schedule prices the committed term.

When a single uplift applies, the dialog also totals the Current TCV and the Renewal TCV at that Price uplift. Every value has to sit inside the range: Save as draft and Publish stay disabled until it does, and an out-of-range percentage field shows “Uplift must be between {min}% and {max}%.” The prices are a preview — Suger recalculates them when you submit, and AWS validates them. Rates show up to eight decimal places, with trailing zeros dropped — 1.05, not 1.05000000. If AWS has not generated the renewal offer yet, the schedule preview says so; you can still save or publish the uplift.

Then choose how to submit it:

  • Save as draft stores the repriced renewal offer as a draft. The buyer is not notified, and reopening the dialog picks the draft up where you left it.
  • Publish asks you to confirm first: “Publishing releases this renewal offer to the buyer and notifies them immediately. This action is irreversible.” Click Confirm publish to go ahead, or Keep editing to go back.

Publishing finalizes the uplift. Once the publish goes through, Adjust Renewal Uplift disappears and Uplift status reads Finalized with the date. Opting out is separate and stays available until the lockout date.

Uplift statusWhat it means
Pending upliftA range uplift that has not been finalized. You can still adjust it before the adjustment deadline — saving a draft leaves it here.
Finalized YYYY-MM-DDLocked in on that date: you published it, or AWS finalized it when the adjustment window closed.
FinalizedA fixed-percentage or no-uplift term. There is nothing to adjust.

Opt out of auto-renewal

The entitlement’s actions menu offers Opt Out of Auto-Renewal, which stops the agreement renewing. It is available only before the lockout date, whether or not the uplift has been finalized.

Once the renewal is off — because you opted out, or the agreement is otherwise set to expire — Renewal status reads Auto-renew off, Next renewal date reads N/A, and the Auto Renew row is no longer shown.

Changes take a few minutes

AWS propagates renewal changes asynchronously, so the card does not update the moment you confirm. Refresh the deal after a few minutes to see the state AWS has recorded.
