Alibaba Marketplace
Alibaba Cloud Marketplace is the one channel here that covers both the China (domestic) and international markets from the same integration — the Region ID you enter decides which Alibaba Cloud endpoint Suger talks to. It also inverts the usual direction of work. On the other marketplaces you build a listing in Suger and Suger publishes it; on Alibaba Cloud you publish the product on the marketplace and Suger imports it, then takes over the transactional side: entitlement lifecycle, renewal notifications, and usage reporting.
Because purchases are completed on Alibaba Cloud Marketplace itself, there are no buyer-specific private offers, no channel partner offers, and no offer-acceptance step. Each product carries a single default offer that mirrors its public marketplace pricing. The integration is organization-wide only, and connects with your Alibaba Cloud account ID, an access key pair, and an SPI key.
Connect and bring your catalog in
- Integration — the four credentials to gather, how the Region ID selects the domestic or international endpoint, and the signed auth-free redirect that logs a buyer into your backend straight from the Alibaba Console.
- List Product — how the periodic sync imports products you have published, including SKUs and plan details, and how to scope the sync to specific product codes.
- Pricing & Offers — where a product’s dimensions and commit options come from, and what the single default offer per product does and does not let you do.
Keep subscriptions and usage in sync
- Entitlements — the marketplace events that create, extend, upgrade, suspend, and cancel a subscription, plus auto-cancellation of suspended entitlements and advance expiry alerts.
- Usage Metering — the four Alibaba metering key types, and the hourly window your usage has to land in to be billed.
