Connect Your First Cloud Marketplace
Once your organization is approved, connecting a cloud marketplace is the first real setup task. It links your seller account on a cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, and more) to Suger, which unlocks products, offers, metering, and billing for that channel.
How it fits together
Before you connect
Each cloud marketplace requires a seller account and some one-time account, legal, and tax setup on the cloud’s side before Suger can connect to it. Those prerequisites — and who on your team you may need (an admin, finance, or engineering teammate) — are covered in What Is a Cloud Marketplace. You can connect more than one marketplace — Suger manages every channel from one place.
What “connected” means
An integration moves through three states, and only one of them counts as done:

CREATED | Suger has the integration record but has not yet confirmed it can reach the marketplace. |
NOT_VERIFIED | Verification ran and did not pass. Fix what the error names, then verify again. |
VERIFIED | Suger can reach the marketplace with the credentials you supplied. This is the state the rest of the product depends on. |
Onboarding treats your marketplace step as complete only once a verified AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Marketplace integration exists — a CREATED record is not enough.
Two settings worth knowing about up front
Opening the cloud console from Suger can be switched off. By default an admin can jump straight into the AWS console from the integration row. Your organization can have that turned off, in which case the button is still there but returns:
Console access to AWS has been switched off for your organization. Contact your Suger administrator to restore it.
The switch is organization-wide, covers both the Marketplace and Billing destinations, and is set by Suger rather than from your own settings page — so if you need it back, raise it with your Suger administrator or support@suger.io.
Google Cloud has an API-generation choice. The GCP integration carries an Enable PrivateOffer API
toggle. Turn it on and Suger syncs your Google Cloud Marketplace products and private offers through the
GCP Commerce Producer API. Replacement and reseller (CPPO_OUT) offers are the exception — they continue to
use the older path, because the Commerce Producer SDK does not cover them yet.
