Dropbox

Overview

Dropbox is a cloud storage and file sharing platform for individuals and teams. Integrate with Dropbox to enable file access, sharing, and document management within Suger.

Org-Level vs User-Level

Org-Level: Uses OAuth to connect your organization’s Dropbox Business account. Provides access to team files and member data.

User-Level: Uses OAuth to connect your personal Dropbox account. Provides access to your individual files and folders.

Create Integration (Org-Level)

Prerequisites

• Dropbox Business account with admin access
• Permission to authorize third-party apps

Authenticate by OAuth

1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations
2. Click Connect Dropbox
3. You will be redirected to Dropbox to authorize
4. Log in and grant Suger access to your organization’s Dropbox
5. Return to Suger — the integration status will show Created
6. Click Verify to confirm the connection

The org-level integration requires the following Dropbox scopes:

• files.metadata.read, files.content.read, files.content.write
• sharing.write, account_info.read
• team_data.member, team_info.read

Create User Integration

1. Click Connect Now in the User Integrations section
2. You will be redirected to Dropbox to authorize
3. Grant Suger access to your personal Dropbox files
4. Return to Suger to confirm the connection
5. Click Verify to confirm

Suger AI Tools

When Dropbox is connected, the Suger AI agent can work with your files through Suger’s built-in tools. The user connection exposes the full set (33 actions); the org (team) connection is a smaller, read-oriented subset for browsing and downloading within team folders.

Org-level and user-level: Both are supported; user-level takes precedence when both are connected.

Edit Integration

Editing is not supported. Delete and recreate.

Delete Integration

Deleting removes the integration and revokes stored credentials from Suger.
