Asana
Overview
Asana is a work management platform for organizing tasks, projects, and workflows. Integrate with Asana to create and manage tasks, projects, and workspaces from Suger and to automate task workflows.
Org-Level vs User-Level
Org-Level: Uses an Asana Service Account token for organization-wide access. Best for shared, company-wide automation.
User-Level: Uses OAuth to connect an individual’s Asana account for personal task and project management.

Org-level and user-level: Both are supported; user-level takes precedence when both are connected.
| Capability | What the agent can do |
|---|---|
| Tasks | Create, read, update, and delete tasks and subtasks, and search a workspace (e.g. create-task, update-task, search-tasks-in-workspace) |
| Projects | Manage projects and task–project membership (e.g. create-project, add-project-to-task) |
| Sections | Organize tasks into project sections (e.g. create-section, list-tasks-for-section) |
| Tags | Manage tags and attach or detach them on tasks (e.g. create-tag, add-tag-to-task) |
| Stories & comments | Add and read comment threads on tasks (e.g. create-story-on-task, list-stories-for-task) |
| Workspaces, teams & users | Read org structure and the connected account (e.g. get-account, list-workspaces, list-users-for-workspace) |
