# PRM

PRM — Partner Management in the Suger Console — is where you recruit companies to sell with you, give them a branded portal to work in, and keep track of what each side owes the other. In the Suger Console it is split in two: **Settings → Partner**, where you define the program once — your partnership profile, branding, registration form, tiers, commission plans, and file-sharing defaults — and **Partners**, where you run it day to day through discovery, invitations, journeys, training, deal registrations, and partner co-sells.

Read the grouping below carefully, because these pages are written for **two different readers**. Most of them are for you, the seller running the program in the Suger Console. Four of them are written for your *external partner*, describing what they see in the portal you give them — they are collected in their own group at the end, and are the pages to hand to a partner rather than follow yourself.

## Start here

1. **[Navigate the Partner Console](/prm/navigate-the-partner-console/)** — a tour of both areas and the order a partner relationship moves through them.
2. **[Complete Partnership Profile](/prm/complete-partnership-profile/)** — the company identity, relationship type, and capabilities partners see before anything else.
3. **[Invite Partners](/prm/invite-partners/)** — get your first partners into the network, one at a time or in bulk.
4. **[Register a Deal with a Partner](/prm/register-a-deal/)** — the first real transaction between you and a partner.

## Set up your program

- **[Complete Partnership Profile](/prm/complete-partnership-profile/)** — company identity, relationship type, capabilities, portal URL, and who is allowed to reach you.
- **[Brand Settings](/prm/brand-settings/)** — logo, brand colors, and tagline; these apply to your partner profile, banner, sidebar cards, and white-label portal only.
- **[Partner Portal Login Page](/prm/partner-portal-login-page/)** — an optional branded sign-in URL you can share directly or embed on your own site.
- **[Add Portal Users](/prm/add-portal-users/)** — how someone gets into the Partner Portal: automatically when their email matches a connected domain, or by invite from **Users & Roles**.
- **[Navigate the Partner Console](/prm/navigate-the-partner-console/)** — what each area is for, including Tasks and Partner Files, which have no separate guide.

## Decide the terms partners work under

- **[Set Up and Manage Commission Plans](/prm/commission-plans/)** — standard defaults that apply to everyone, plus custom plans that override them for specific partners.
- **[Partner Tiers](/prm/partner-tiers/)** — levels such as Registered, Silver, Gold, and Platinum; each partner sits in one tier at a time and can see it.
- **[Set Your File Sharing Defaults](/prm/file-sharing-defaults/)** — choose who can see each file category once, so every new upload to Partner Files inherits the right setting.

## Recruit partners into your network

- **[Partner Discovery](/prm/partner-discovery/)** — find candidates two ways: AI-assisted recommendations from your existing data, or Salesforce accounts you have already flagged as partners.
- **[Partner Registration Form](/prm/partner-registration-form/)** — a hosted apply form with its own URL and an embed snippet, so partners can come to you.
- **[Invite Partners](/prm/invite-partners/)** — invite one partner or many from a CSV, with Suger drafting the outreach email from the purpose and tone you give it.
- **[Track Partner Collaborations](/prm/collaborations/)** — every invitation thread and pending invite in one list, filtered by type and state.
- **[Sync Partners from Salesforce](/prm/sync-partners-from-salesforce/)** — mark which Salesforce accounts count as partners so they appear in discovery, and optionally pull their documents into your file library.

## Register and settle deals

- **[Register a Deal with a Partner](/prm/register-a-deal/)** — create the co-sell record when a customer needs to buy through a partner instead of directly from you.
- **[Track and Respond to Deals](/prm/track-and-respond-to-deals/)** — the Partner Co-Sells list: filter by direction and status, approve or decline what partners send you, and manage a deal once it is live.

## Onboard, train, and certify partners

- **[Create and Assign Partner Journeys](/prm/create-and-assign-journeys/)** — build a reusable onboarding playbook once as a template, then assign it to partners.
- **[Track Journey Progress](/prm/track-journey-progress/)** — check where an assigned partner stands and tick off steps as they finish them.
- **[Build a Partner Training Course](/prm/build-a-training-course/)** — author lessons in Suger's editor, or upload a course you already built elsewhere as a SCORM package.
- **[Share and Monitor Partner Training Courses](/prm/share-monitor-training/)** — publishing is not the same as sharing; choose which partner organizations can enroll, then watch their progress.
- **[Partner Certifications](/prm/partner-certifications/)** — create certificates, attach them to courses, and see which learners have earned one.

## What your partners do in the portal

These four pages describe the *partner's* view of the branded portal. Send them to a partner; do not follow them yourself expecting the Suger Console.

- **[Submit a Deal Registration (Partner)](/prm/submit-a-deal-registration-partner/)** — the partner's side of deal registration: fill in the form, request the support they need, then follow the opportunity in Co-Sell.
- **[Take a Partner Training Course](/prm/take-training-course/)** — how a partner finds courses under **Training → From Partners**, assigns them to teammates, and works through the lessons.
- **[View Your Team's Earned Certificates](/prm/view-certificates/)** — how a partner checks which certificates their team holds, whether any are expiring, and prints a copy.
- **[Track Your Assigned Partner Journey](/prm/track-partner-journey/)** — how a partner reads the journey you assigned them and sees what is expected at each step.

## Scope and limits

:::info
Partner discovery from your CRM and partner document sync currently support **Salesforce only**.

Sending partner invitations needs a connected email account — Gmail or Microsoft Outlook — under **Settings → Integrations**.

Journey steps never tick themselves. Even when a partner signs the agreement, finishes the course, or registers the deal elsewhere in Suger, you confirm and mark the step complete by hand.

Registration forms can be edited but not deleted once created. Most of the **Settings → Partner** pages above need an Admin or Editor role; if fields look read-only, check your role first.
